My name is Nick James Montoya, and I am an actor based in New York City.

I started performing in my hometown of Denver, Colorado, and I continued my Acting journey in Casper, Wyoming, where I earned my Associate’s Degree in Musical Theatre Performance, playing roles such as:

‘Hero’ in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” and

‘J. Pierrpont Finch’ in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

I continued honing my craft at the University of Colorado in Denver, where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Production.

During this time, I played theatrical roles such as:

‘Melchior’ in “Spring Awakening,” with the Synthesis Theatre Company, and

‘Roger’ in “RENT,” at the Lafayette Arts Hub.

During this time I also embarked on my career as a Film Actor, playing the role of

‘Alex Delmonico’ in “Publish or Perish,” a feature film by David Liban, which can be seen on Amazon Prime.

I am incredibly grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that have shaped me into the dedicated performer I am today. Whether I'm showcasing my love for storytelling on the big screen or connecting with fellow actors on the stage, I pour my heart and soul into every role I take on.

Other than performance, you can see me exploring my new home of New York City, going on a run, reading at a coffee shop, or trying out crazy karaoke bars downtown!

I believe in the power of storytelling and the transformative impact it can have on both the artist and the audience. My goal is to inspire, entertain, and connect with people through my work as an actor. With an unwavering passion for the arts, a relentless drive for honesty in my performances, and a collaborative attitude.
